I done it!

I worked a full eight hours away from home today! Well, minus an hour-long lunch break. During which April slept the whole time. Gee, missed you too, darlin'.

As I predicted she went through a full wardrobe change before lunch time. For some reason every time Ralph's mom watches her, she ends up in 2 or 3 different outfits. Apparently when people tell me she's a doll, they mean it.

April was trying to roll over last night. Bless her heart, she'd almost have it, then she'd give up and start crying. Then she'd try again, and same thing. I think she'll do it sometime this week if I give her enough tummy time. I cannot believe how big she's getting. What happened to my little peanut? She wouldn't go to sleep in a timely manner last night and when that happens, the only thing that will get her down is her and I moving to the couch. She won't do it in the bed, or in the guest bed...has to be on the couch. And has to be me, not daddy. Stinks for me; the couch kills my back. But I do enjoy snuggling for 8 hours. Plus she looks so dang cute in the morning after a good night's sleep.

Apparently, Apes learned to read while I was gone today. I miss all the good stuff.

It's not as weird as it looks. No, those are not my legs. Though almost as hairy, not quite. And yes, Ralph has shorts on but he's laying down and they have ridden up his butt apparently.

Work was...work. God, shoot me. It is so boring in that office right now with 3 of our 7 desks occupied, and one by yours truly. The interns start a week from today. I cannot believe I am going into my third season with the Blaze. I spent most of the day making lists of all the things I need to do (or make other people do) before April 16.

It was cold today, and quiet at the ballpark. Just like this time last year when I was obsessed with getting pregnant. Going into that bathroom, I remember all the ovulation predictors and pregnancy tests I peed on at work. Weird, I know. I did say obsessed, after all. In a sick and twisted way it made me want to be going through that again. Yeah, I don't know...I don't get it. It's funny how fast you forget all the pain, sickness, being uncomfortable, labor, squeezing a 7 lb baby out of something a 7 lb baby should not be coming out of...just like that. Don't worry, no more baby B's anytime soon. Unless, well.....no. Just no.

Ralph freaked me out today by saying they weren't going to open one of the stores he's supposed to be managing. See, he's getting the salary of two store managers so I am thinking he's going to break the news that they're going to cut his salary in half. Luckily, they're just going to open the location at the mall and he will take that over. Mini heart attack, thanks. We waited long and hard for this job and $$$. Counting my blessings....
